CrossPoint started in August 2005. Throughout our history, we have focused on sharing the Gospel and making disciples in Starkville, at Mississippi State University, and around the world. We are a staff-led church overseen by Elders, served by Deacons, and which expects every member to be actively living for Jesus and advancing God's Kingdom.

CrossPoint adheres to the
Blue Skies

CrossPoint is a worshipping community of authentic Jesus followers equipped and mobilized to make a strategic Kingdom impact in our world by sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ and making disciples while being theologically pure and culturally relevant.

  • People are encouraged to be real.

  • All people need the Gospel.

  • Sharing the Gospel and making disciples are our two primary responsibilities.

  • We will strive to keep things simple to stay focused on our primary responsibilities.

We fulfill our mission through the following four components.

  1. Worship

  2. Community

  3. Equipping

  4. Mobilizing
